Susan has over 20 years of experience in public relations and marketing. She started as a journalist in the Cleveland area and upon moving to Columbus, worked as an account executive for various high-level clients at a top advertising agency. Susan owned and operated a statewide publication and after 12 years, sold the publication in 2006. She also produced a television show for two years.

In 2007, Susan decided to start working for herself, and several ideas developed into the successful public relations agency that Bowers PR is today. An avid animal-lover and humanitarian, Susan sits on the boards of several nonprofits in Columbus, and in 2013, she received special honors for her work in crisis management and has also been recognized for setting up many creative and successful charitable giveback programs in the area and for her clients.

Susan currently resides in the Columbus area, with her husband, 2 King Charles Cavaliers (Molly and Woody), an elusive cat named Kitty, and is the mother of three grown sons.
